Finance, construct, operate, and maintain six secondary schools for Kent County Council
The Kent Schools PFI project is a 30 year concession to finance, construct, operate, and maintain six secondary schools in Kent. The client is Kent County Council.
The project reached financial close in October 2005 and had a capital expenditure of £95 million.
The schools were constructed by Costain Ltd and William Verry Ltd.
The project has been operational since June 2007. The project benefits from a long-term FM agreement with Mitie PFI Ltd.
