Finance, construct, operate, and maintain three schools for Conwy County Borough Council

The Conwy Schools project is a 27 year concession to finance, construct, operate, and maintain three schools in North Wales for Conwy County Borough Council. The three schools can accommodate c. 3,600 pupils.

John Bright school was newly built on a new site. Aberconwy and Duffryn Conwy schools remain on their existing sites. These projects involved substantial new building work, coupled with refurbishment of existing areas.

Financial close occurred in early 2003 and the project involved capital expenditure of approximately £40 million. Alfred McAlpine Construction Limited carried out the construction works, which were completed in March 2005.

FM services are carried out by Sodexo.
