Finance, construct, operate, and maintain a music school for the Department of Education and Skills, Ireland

The Cork School of Music PPP project is a 27 year project to finance, construct, operate and maintain a new school of music in Cork, to accommodate 130 academic staff, 400 full-time students, and 2,000 part- time students. The client is the Department of Education and Skills, Ireland.

The project reached financial close in September 2005.

John Sisk and Son carried out the construction works, which were completed in the summer of 2007. Capital expenditure was approximately €50 million.

Hard and Soft FM Services are provided by HSG Zander (a subsidiary of Bilfinger SE). These services include cleaning, catering, security, maintenance, waste disposal, caretaking, telecoms, and mail.
