Finance, construct, operate, and maintain three secondary schools for the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council

The Bradford BSF Phase 1 project is a 27 year concession to finance, construct, operate, and maintain three secondary schools - Buttershaw High School, Salt Grammar School and Tong School - for the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The project is part of Bradford’s Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.

Financial close was achieved in December 2006. Design and construction of the schools was provided by a joint venture between Costain and Ferrovial Agroman. Capital expenditure was approximately £84 million. Operations first began in mid-2008 and FM services are provided by Amey.
